SCaLE 9x was a great event. There were lots of great talks, a fun hallway track and even an added game night. Lots of good stuff. Not only did they do all that, but they did it in a new location.
The minutes from the post-event meeting show that 9x had a 20% attendance increase and was cash positive. It also had , an expo floor that spilled out into another room.

Local-Motors is looking for a PHP Web Developer. Doubt it gets you the company car, but they might let you play with it some :). You'd get to be part of a start up that's doing some cool stuff.
Local-Motors is also seeking a PR person and a graphics designer. See the jobs page for info on all their openings.
Here's the link to the video feed for my Tunneling With SSH talk tonight at SCaLE9x. 16:30 California time. Requires allowing javascript for conferencebywire.com and flash.
Earlier this afternoon I finished the Moodle setup for my first presentation, Moodle GIFT Question Format, at SCaLE 9x. The presentation is in an hour.
I added the presentation to the Moodle instance. Now the presentation knows where the class is and the class knows where the presentation is. I just need to get the info to those attending :).
Update: The Call for Presentations deadline was extended to Saturday, 2010Feb05, in order to take advantage of FUDcon being in town with lots of great potential speakers in the crowd.
